Dkfiii88manche Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I have an 88 manche with no back window. I was wondering what gaskets and seals I will need to do the install. My brother is an auto body tec and he said he will get the local glass guy put it in. I just need to know what gaskets I'll need.
yellaheep Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 The rear window on our MJ's actually glues in just like the windshield. Unless you're going to install an aftermarket slider window with a full frame. In order to replace an OEM one-piece rear window, you'll want the rubber "trim" that installs around the edge of the glass just before being glued in place. It's not a gasket, just trim to cover the 1/4" gap. If you can find the glass, I may be willing to part with one of the rubber trim surrounds that I have in my parts pile.......
