Phoenix of Fury
Hi all. I am selling my 1986 Jeep Comanche. I have owned it for 7 years and would love to keep it, but I don't wheel seriously anymore, and I want someone else to be able to enjoy it. It has the 2.5L I4, with ~93k miles (all original!). It is fully optioned for 1986 and the interior is in pristine condition. The Jeep runs well and has no major mechanical or electrical issues. It was my daily driver for several months, drives well on the road and will pass emissions. It has been heavily modified for off-roading, and I have all the paperwork and receipts for all work done below:- 33x12.50 r15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Radials (~15k miles, tons of tread left, full size spare)- 4.88 gears front and rear- Detroit locker in the rear, truetrac in the front- 4.5" Skyjacker coil springs (RE1310) in the front- Skyjacker adjustable upper (RE3780) and lower (RE3715) control arms- Extended front and rear brake lines- 4.5" Hell Creek leaf springs in the rear.- Dana 30 front axle (non vac-lock) with offset upper and lower ball joints- Dana 44 rear axle (Not original to the vehicle, but original to an MJ) converted with TSM disc brake kit- Custom side rock bars and steering- Crane diff covers- Power steering pump, steering gear and catalytic converter replaced at 79k miles- Clutch replaced at 82k milesIf you have any questions, please PM me. Asking $6000 obo. Thanks.

yellaheep
Nice truck for sure...... But I'm not seeing an '86 4-banger being worth $8k. Sorry.
JeepcoMJ
He is right. That thing is worth half what you are asking. You will never buy a vehicle and recoup your investment on aftermarket parts. I would pay more if you left it stock.
Phoenix of Fury
Thanks for the input. I was trying to leave myself some negotiation room. I realize I won't get out of it what I put into it, but I don't need to sell it so badly that I'll let it go for peanuts. I've dropped the price to be more reasonable (hopefully.)
