1986amcmj Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I bought my mj about a week ago and I was wonder what I could do to make my speedo and odometer work any ideas would be great thanks
Eagle Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 If neither is working, the speedometer cable is probably either broken, or disconnected. Check to be sure it is connected to the speedometer in the dashboard, and to the transmission or transfer case down under.
Zebvance Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Mine had the same problem and my speedo cable was broke where it meets in to the transfer case under the protective sheathing. Was very easy to fix and a new cable cost around $30.00
