Driving Not My Truck :(

so I had to take my 98 dakota into the shop on monday as it is to cold outside to work on it :(

 

and in it's stead I got  to drive my dads 07-08 ranger, as a DD it a really nice truck, better then mine, but I can't get over how gutless it 3.0L engine feel compared to my 3.9L, I know that mines a little bit bigger but still

there both 6cyl engines I just can't believe that my truck which is ten years older has so much more get-up-and-go.  (also there both 5 speed stick).
