coyote kid
My antifreeze mix was wrong and it froze into a thick slush I got it running but it has a miss at idle now and overheats quick and shoots steam from the intake manifold seal it also has steam from exhaust that smells like antifreeze where should I start ?? Is my block cracked and my motor toast ? Its a 88 2.5 ax4
Jeep Driver
Coolant runs through the intake manifold too.........I'd start there.......next is the head. Sorry man, that sucks.
MancheKid86
ouch,I'm with jeepdriver, hopefully it just blew the intake seal, causing a missfire where its leaking into the manifold to the cyl, which makes sense for it steaming out the intake manifoldnext is the headwhen you check your intake gasket you need to drain the coolant anyways, when refilling save the hassle and buy a jug of premix
