diablo8511
So the slave cylinder went out on my 89 2.5l 5 speed. It has the internal slave cylinder so I figured I might as well replace the clutch while I have it all apart. I just got it all back together today and started it up. while the clutch pedal is down no noise, when the pedal is released there is a grinding noise. So my question is what did I do wrong??? onlyinajeep726
Grinding noise like how? Does it sound like a belt sander going or like a metal on metal? Reason I ask is because when I did my clutch kit, it made a noise for the first so many miles until I broke it in. Now it's whisper quiet.
diablo8511
Metal on Metal, although it has been a good brain is a little over loaded from search all over the web to get some insight. I havent drove it all yet, maybe I will give it a couple of mile test run if nothing else.
