Wiring Gremlins

I have purchased a 4x4 build project it's a 86 Mj ...I'm very new to the Mj forum so not Telly sure if this question has been answered. So I put a inline fuel pump in Andi started it...Then smoke came from under the dash and and it will not start any more..it just turns over no fire to cool

Was it running before you added the fuel pump? Is the fuel pump circuit what's burning, or something else?

It was running fine then smoked...the fuel pump is a inline unit straight wired...it pumps but now the truck does not have fire to the coil

Sounds like you need to pull the dash and find what fried
