Woody Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the complete circut for the horn? Wire color codes would help greatly also if anyone has it.
512tr Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Funny, last night I replied on a Norwegian Jeep forum, exactly the same question :) Her the wiring diagrams, all the way from the battery, via the ignition switch to the rely and the horns.

Woody Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 ok time to try to fix this again :? . Where and which one is the horn relay :?: This is the only thing left that is holding me up on a state inspection. Please help :!:
Woody Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 GOT IT :!: OK it wasn't the relay, horn or an open in the circut. The steering wheel had developed a strange powder like substance on it, some may call this odd chemical reaction rust. After I cleaned it it works perfectly.....DOH!
87manche Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 SORRY for the hijack...Any body have a fix for the dead spots in the horn as I turn the wheel????? CW sounds like your slip ring is tarnished or corroded. You'll have to take th steering wheel apart and get at it. Either clean it up, or replace the ring and the wiper arm. Autozone will rent you the spring compressor and wheel puller.
