I imagine weighting down a structure like that could be easily done with sandbags. And you can see how I have them zip tied to the rack..the rope isnt touching them at all Image Not Found alright, that means i should weld a pole onto my truck and be good :) although wood gives more that metal, another question, how long have ya had one flag on before it's rips? Redwolf I mean it was on the back of my parents deck when it wasn't on the XJ (and it wasnt raining)..lol but it was on the xj probably every other weekend. redwolf624 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Share Posted October 20, 2013 built my flag pole, finished it yesterday and got it mounted, started it day before yesterday, went up to 65mph and what happen? NOTHING!! it works like a charm, i have it zip tied at the bed rail where i have 3 holes from the last owner and i have the pole welded to the L piece that i've posted pictures of on here earlier, and that's bolted to the bed, here's some pictures, Redwolf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
