NHMJXJ
I've had this listed on Craigslist for a few years now. I've been asking $75. I'm sure I paid over a hundred for it, but never put it on. Bought it on eBay. It's still in bubblewrap. I would prefer to sell it locally, but will ship it if need be. Any reasonable offer will be accepted. Rather see someone use it.
oldseddie
Does this include the bumper ends or is it just the center bar?
NHMJXJ
Just the bumper. I planned to put it on my old XJ. Thought someone here might want it for a 97+ conversion.
Automan2164
Didn't even know chrome was an offering for the bumper... Sure it's not old body style? Rob
NHMJXJ
I know it's odd, but yes, 97-01 Chrome front bumper. Still on eBay ranging between $110 and $200. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Bumper-Face-Bar-Front-Chrome-Jeep-Cherokee-1997-2001-CH1002257-5EE85JX8AC-/370860779205?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item56590666c5&vxp=mtr#ht_1427wt_1006 My '01 XJ has a chrome rear bumper with the chrome nacel over the plate on the rear hatch. Looks good. If I could figure out how to post pics, I'd share them.
Automan2164
Still not believing it. I can't say I have ever seen one, a google search came up dry, and I can't even picture one on... My bet is that it's for an older XJ... My thoughts anyway. Rob
Alexia
As for official from the factory there are no MOPAR part numbers on any parts lists I have. All of the mounting holes are basically the same across the year split and it would not surprise me if this aftermarket bumper had all the necessary holes regardless of year. As long as there are Chrome Freaks out there the market will fill the gap for them.
NHMJXJ
It's got a "Made in China" sticker on it. All the mounting holes line up perfectly with my 01 and the contours match. Conversely, none of the contours match the chrome bumper on my MJ. I'm the chrome freak for whom the gap, Alexia mentioned, was filled.
