mdwatson
My oil pan is leaking at the front and was wondering what the best gasket to use when I replace it.
Comanchemodder
I bought the one-piece from a '94+ YJ. It needs a little RTV in the corners but otherwise was really easy. Note: This was for a 2.5L and '94 motor. I assume the one-piece will work for older 2.5L, but I would ask an expert to confirm. Not sure what year your engine is. 87Warrior
I put the gray one piece gasket in my 86 2.5. A little RTV around it and she hasn't leaked at all.
mdwatson
Forgot to mention it's a 86. Hey 87Warrior, do you happen to remember the part # on the gasket? I've only been able to find the multi piece ones.
87Warrior
Crown Automotive #4713021 http://www.jeep4x4center.com/oil-pan-gasket-set-4713021.html The fit was pretty loose, but works well with some RTV on each side.
