anti-christ-comanche Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 been working on jeep did the intake/exhaust gasket along with all the other gaskets involved egr tb ect got everything hooked all wires sensors vacuum lines hooked back up go to start the engine turns over but doesnt start look down the throttle body and crank it getting fuel and the engine is getting spark but still no start. the cap rotor wires plugs coil are all 6 months old and everything is fine. why won't she start? could it be timing componets? you would here that you would think? ftpiercecracker1 Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 How can you tell its getting fuel by looking down the TB, even the 2.5s are EFI as far as i know. EDIT: Oh, wait . . . just read your sig, 86 year model so is it carb or TB injection? Either way, it would seem checking for spark would be the next step.
