jimoshel
How in beegeesus do you remove the dash panel? Have all the screws and other hardware off from the right hand side and the bottom. Can pull the right hand side out a couple inches and the bottom up but that's it. Acts like there's a screw holding it directly behind and above where the instrument cluster goes. Getting ready to use a crow bar and pry but I want to salvage it. Don't want to break anything. Help! :dunno: :hmm: I've removed the 5 screws holding the defroster duct. I can pull the right hand side up a couple inches but I can't get it loose from directly behind the instrument cluster.
MJCARENA
After you remove the screws for the defroster trim, and remove the trim, there should be 4 10mm screws under it that need to be removed, one by each end and two in the middle.

jimoshel
I did too. I got them out. I think it's just a tight squeeze and a knife blade worked down into it would pop it out. I'm just not sure if there was anything else holding it or not. It's a beautiful dark red and I want to do a interior swap with a MJ so I don't want to break anything. It's removing the trim I'm having the problem with. Going to go try a thin knife trick. Hoping for the better.
jimoshel
Got it! It was just a very tight fit. A knife blade down the edge and it popped out. Unscathed.
