jeepfreak89
So I am a proud 89 MJ owner but a Jeep lover in general. I don't know if this is frowned upon here or not... but I am going to ask for assistance with my 96 Grand Cherokee. Problem: Transmission slips/surges/bucks, just does not seem to know where its at. So far I have changed the fluid AND filter, changed the Overdrive solenoid and Governor pressure sensor and I grabbed a USED tranny brain from salvage yard, in an attempt to see if the brain was bad. Well its still doing the same things. The only things I have yet to do ( short of replacing the tranny) is I didn't change the transducer WITH the gov. pressure sensor and I hadn't had the brain actually reprogrammed by dealer. Any help would be great guys!

jeepfreak89
Yep, automatic. Couple friends keep pointing me toward other sensors.... TPS, MAP, but I replaced the TPS to no avail.
