AeroNautical Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 It's very hard to find an AX15 cross member. Instead you can use a 3/4 inch Transfer case lowering kit and use the cross member you already have. Lowering kits are cheap enough, about $20 to $30. I go to jys often, if you'd like I'll keep an eye out for that shifting linkage. Where is NC are you?
oldseddie Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 I'm in Fairview. I hate to say Asheville as people might get the wrong idea about my sexuality. I am considering altering the extra ba10 cross member I have. How much do I need to thin it to accommodate the ax15?
1987Comanche Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I was at LKQ in Greenville, SC and Ron's in Greer, SC this weekend and neither had an AX-15 XJ/MJ in the yard. You could try Rusty's in Marion or U Pick your parts in Shelby. If you want to go retail you can try Johnsons or Speedy's.

They are supposed to call me if certain models show up. Seeing as I already have an extra ba10 cross member, I may just try altering it to resemble an ax15 only stronger. I guess I just need the shift linkage. Oh and a late model bearing cover.
