hitman72
So I have an ASUS tablet and I would like to use it while diving for turn by turn directions. I have a USB style GPS receiver and have used with software on my laptop before for maritime navigation. I just don't know where to find a good program for my tablet that supports offline maps and will overlay a GPS input. I would like to not have to pay for the program (app) but if i have to i will. Thanks. PS I know this is not a computer forum but i would bet someone has done this before on here. lol
Stacks
I have used a program called GPS Trackmaker. The author is in Brazil. The program is free for personal use. It has been stable and works great. I've used maps from several online sources. Mostly I used it for exploring/searching for old mine sites so the maps I used were topo ones. I believe it would work with any map you would want to use. There is a link below to their website. Hope that is of some help for you. http://www.trackmaker.com/downloadscontract.php Later, Larry
