Hello Everyone,

It is time, I've been stringing this project along since 2009 & haven't touched it in 2 years. Here's the what i have:

1.) JCR Rear hitch bumper (Unused, unpainted)

2.) JCR short bed rock sliders (Unused, unpainted)

3.) Ford 8.8 rear axle (Overhauled all new bearings, 4.10 limited slip, new brakes, SOLID diff cover) installed on truck but untested.

4.) Dana 30 front axle (In pieces but has the following: 4.10 gears, iron rock sleeves installed, UCA gusset installed, LCA guards installed, SOLID diff cover)

5.) Interior from a '98 Cherokee (Buckets, dash, center console with E brake)

6.) 97+ front clip, fenders, & doors

7.) 4.5" Rough country lift

8.) Bed shell (it's not a perfect fit, but it's close)

Currently the truck will NOT move under its own power, it can be rolled onto a trailer though & I think pretty much everything i have for it can be stuffed into / on it. The windshield is out & fenders, hood, front clip, & doors are off. I can reinstall them, but I'd rather not... The engine is still installed but all accessories have been stripped from it in anticipation of removal (It ran good, but i had diesel on the brain). The fuel tank / sending unit are perfect, this was a southwest truck & it shows, it was however a fleet truck at some point & that shows as well.

I do not want to part it out I'd prefer a complete haul away. This will not be going on CL & it will not go to a junk yard. It is in my garage protected & will stay that way until it's gone or otherwise.

I'll get some pics of it's current state tomorrow, the pics of it above were just before i hauled it across the country (again) to California.

That looks like a sweet deal to me!

If you decide to sell the sliders and rear bumper seperately, i'd be interested. Course shipping would be tough, but perhaps doable. They are not required to be boxed, just labeled.

I'll let you know what comes of everything. The biggest problem is time, if i had enough of it to start parting the truck then I'd likely keep the thing & make it magical...

Shipping was $60.00 from Michigan to Texas UPS ground just for the rear bumper, i don't know what it was for the sliders, but they are heavier...

I drove more than 500 miles to see the truck this afternoon.  This is a screaming deal for somebody who is willing to put the labor into finishing the truck.  Dave has done a very quality job so far.  But there is a ton of work still to do.  Good news is Dave has all kinds of expensive, quality parts included in the deal.  I lack the skills and the dedication to finish this truck.  I hope Dave goes back to the project and uses the M-B 300TD engine conversion he has the kit for.  It will be a fantastic truck when completed.

When he drops his price, I am sure going to think HARD about this.

Dave, save me and don't drop your price.

JJ
