skidoo_j Posted January 21, 2013 Author Share Posted January 21, 2013 I've read through all prior posts on cc.com Two of the prior forums were single post discussions and the third seemed rather split that if you got it for nothing it's an improvement, but not worth getting new. I guess the question i have is people say the stock ignition is very similar and is more than adequate, however if the msd is a triple ign during each cycle under 3k rpm I'd think it would have more complete burn vs stock if the pulse widths are the same. It just depends as people posted if it made any significant difference. I'm not about to run out an buy one. Just looking for people with direct experience rather than hearse. I only want experience from renix era systems too on the 4.0. My uncle runs a msd on his camero and It made a huge difference, but again we have a computer controlled ignitions.
