Help!! Splicing Tailights In..

Blew the 2.5 in my 87 mj, got a 95 xj donor, trucks finally running took about a month and i can't figure out getting my tail lights back. Ive cut the xj harness just behind the fuel pump plug in thinking i would just tap in there and keep the excess in the rear of the cab. Ive found the 4+ wires in the xj harness that controll the rear but my mj has 4 wires running to the rear.. blue, brown, brown/white, and grey/black.... all i can make function is the tag lights.... sorry that was lengthy but any help is greatly appriciated

Well that explains why they haven't delivered the two I ordered last month.
