can someone tell me where i can find some greasable rear shackles for my mj? i am looking to get around and inch to 1.5 inches of lift. i wouldnt mind more if it won't push my axle to far forward.

would a two inch lift xj shackle give me the desired inch?

You are looking for a 6.5" shackle to get about 1" of lift. Factory is about 4.5".

I don't know of one that will get you 1" off the top of my head....

I'm at 4.75" and at full droop my adjustable LCAs hit they're mount. I'm getting away with it, but at 5.5" you'll be kinda limited on droop.

You'll be able to drive it around town and wheel it lightly, but the lack of suspension travel'll get to you on the trails.

my brother has the 4.5" re coils and the respective CAs and such that came with his RE kit. and we went to install 2" coil spring spacers and his CAs hit on the mount before the spring thought about coming off the spring isolator.

like he said... you will be WAY limited on droop.

the pan hard bar is the same as a trackbar right?

as for the CA's, i plan on using the jeep for my daily driver and some weekend wheelin but i guess ill just take it easy till i can go to long arms.

i was also wondering about using control arm drop brackets. i know that there not the best option but for a temporoary fix and some light off road use would they hold up?

They're a great option! For some reason, they cost a pretty dime. but the flex is amazing from them, and the people that have used them say that they don't get hung up on things like everyone assumes.

A panhard is a track bar, yup.

And DD plus weekend (or midweek, or at night) wheeler is what my truck is. 3/4" does make a difference, but my rig rides like butta. Like butta. Like a big stick a butta.

yeah all I'm lookin for is to be able to go out and spend a day on the trail with my buddys or make my way out to the local party spot for the night on weekends. well, ill save up for some drop brackets also i guess

the rubicon express price is around 270, is that for all 4 arms?

"Cherokee control arm relocation brackets are used to relocate the upper and lower control arms approximately 3" lower and 1/2" forward of their factory position. The resulting reduction in control arm angle improves lifted ride and handling substantially."

But like I said, a "pretty" penny.

don['t forget with the frop brackets that you can't bolt that handy dandy brace onto an MJ, because of the reinforce LCA pockets form the factory. THe result is that they may bang around a bit, but ehy work fine, just make sure you check the bolts every once in a while.
