Decided to watch a few weather documentaries on my time off.

Done by PBS back in '04, a documentary on "SuperTwisters" (typical show about how forecasting can improve / serious downsides if it doesn't; yadda yadda)

Figure I'd post it on here just for anyone looking for a good watch. I'm such a nut for these types of things; it's only a shame that I'm not pursuing a career in meteorology. :dunno: Also, viewer discretion, some scenes are a bit... ugly to watch. :ack:

I watched another video on the Greensburg, KS EF5 Tornado back in '07 and it got me thinking. People willing to piece back together their lives after living through something that horrible deserve all the credit in the world. More than some actor or famous music artist gets on a day-to-day basis.

What I'm getting at is this: Don't ever take anything you cherish for granted. One day it can all be there, right in front of you; and the next day when you wake up, it's completely gone. Doesn't even have to be weather related either.

Of course, I'm sure the good people of CC already know this though.
