johnny quest
so i was sitting in my garage tonight trying to find some ambition to get some work done. i ended up getting nothing done, but did end up finding this. the manual itself wasnt really a find, as i knew it was there, but i had just never thumbed through it. 'cool' i think to myself. whats inside?? the dealer's AND the original owner's info. The Warrenty Identification Card is in there too, and looks like its never been touched. Turns out my MJ somehow made it to Utah from Virginia. And the only Ronald Ray in Virginia I found after about 30 seconds on google is a dentist; i'm temped to give him a call. HOrnbrod
Cool. The very first NEW vehicle I ever bought was a 1984 Chevrolet S10 from this same Casey dealership in Newport News. Back then they were a combo GM / Jeep dealership. It had the paltry 2.8L engine w. 4WD. Jeep MJs were not introduced yet, or otherwise I would have surely bought one. I shipped it to the Philippines, and it served me well untill I wrecked it on a mountain road (goat path) and replaced it with an XJ. far as I know, casey is still thriving and going strong. dancome433
Thats pretty cool. The only owners manual I have is actually from an MJ I found in a junkyard, it also had all the original owners info, and if I remember right, I'm pretty sure it said it was from the same area as the junkyard, and the truck had 220xxx miles on it.
