Just finished swapping the clutch master cylinder. There was some fluid leakage but I think I caught it before any damage. Question. Has anybody removed-installed this cylinder without having to remove the reservoir?

So how did you get the line off? The one behind the reservoir going to the slave. I'm sure it can be done but it just seemed much simpler to just get the thing out of the way.

some how I used my flare nut wrench set (unsure of their proper name), but to get the old one off I used vice grips. I remember that I loosened the Master clutch cyl from the fire wall to give a little more wrench room.

 

my clutch started leaking again I haven't started tracking down the problem but more than likely remove parts tomorrow
