MiNi Beast
Ok last time I did this I just swapped fuel rail and used exsisiting fuel tank. Without return line, and then just spliced wires in for fuel pump. But this time doner xj has a. Brand new gas tank and what not in it and I would like to perhaps reuse it and want to keep my wiring clean hen.se the reason for the swap. So question I guess is who has the link for the pin connection at kick panel for fuel pump and should I swap gas tank or maybe run xj pump in the mj tank, will it even fit? Kinda having a dumb moment. :hmm:
lostissues
from what I have read the xj tank will not fit due to the drive shaft. and the mj sender is set up different from the xj so you cannot just swap the sender.
MiNi Beast
Not worried about the tank fitting I can make it fit. Was thinking I wasn't able to swap pumps. Now you think I could just run a new return line to my tank as being its no pressure and just a return for the gas? But see if I run xj tank the replacement parts be easier to be had at parts store. May have answered my own question. Lol
lostissues
I have no idea about the return line, I opted to use a fuel cell and xj pump for my upcoming swap. but it would be a lot easier to get parts for the xj.
MiNi Beast
just going to do what I did last time and just swap the fuel rail, has new fuel pressure regulator on it as well so might as well. :)
