dual use gear oil

My 89 has a b/a10 and the 90 has an ax-15 --- my question is --- will it hurt to use gl-3 in the pukegoat, rather than the gl-5 recommended? just trying to simplify the fluids shelve -- thanks

You're better off using GL-3 in both. That way you won't be eating up the syncros.

GL-5 wears out the brass syncros faster.
