Zenobian_84
Decided to stop fiddling with the column horn wiring and go the easy route by wiring it to a swtch. Are the OEM 84-96 toggle switches the same setup? IE: If I have the ground on the top prong of the button, and the constant power on the bottom, can I swap them at any given time and still have a working horn? Or does each prong have a specific function? I got Don's fog-light wiring guide a while back, but that didn't show me what I needed to know about the switch itself. Thanks :wrench:
HOrnbrod
There are three marked pins, A, B, and C. Pin B is in the middle. Pin C is the input, pin B is the switched output, and pin A is for switch illumination. To make the switch illuminate when closed: If switching 12V through pins B and C, tie pin A to ground. If switching ground through pins B and C, tie pin B to 12V.
