Hey all,

 

Does anyone know if the 97+ cherokee hood is the same as the 96- hood?

If they are not what are the differences?

Can the be interchangeable?

I have a 99 Cherokee that I intended to use for parts but ended up trying to get it back on the road and finding a 96- hood is much easier than finding a 97+ hood.

The reason I think they may be interchangeable is this ebay listing:

which says that item works on 87-01 cherokee.

Yup, identical.

 

Only change was in 87.
