Alex V. Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I'm looking for the cold air intake hose for an '84 XJ w/2.5L. This is the carbureted 2.5L, and I think one from an '85 or early '86 will fit, as well, but not sure of that. In central MO. Thanks!
jimoshel Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Those hoses are so old and brittle that even if you do find one it would probably fall apart when you try to remove it. I suggest you measure the diameter of the hose and length and see if you can't find one from a later model or even a parts or appliance store. If you get really desperate let me know. I may be able to find a useable one out my scrap pile. Gone thru 6-7 '84-'86 Xj's in the last year or so.
