krustyballer16
when i got my 91 comanche there werent any courtesy lights in the b pillars and the wires running to them on the floor were melted for some reason and I'm working on rewiring them but can't figure out how they are wired through the door check switch and the headlight switch for dome light override. i have pink, yellow and black in the plugs up to the lights. but they are all cut down on the floor. a diagram or personal experiences or any info really would be helpful. mvusse
IIRC, black is ground, yellow is always on, pink is on when the doors are open or the override on the light switch is turned. The lights themselves had 3 positions: always off (disconnected), always on (connected to the yellow wire) and on with the doors open or override (connected to the pink wire). Might be wrong on the wires, can't hurt to double check with a test light.
