mj.87 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 My transmission cooler lines are leaking! I have looked online at replacements but I’m not sure what I need. The metal line is what is rusted out and seems to be the problem. Does anyone know what the part number is on that metal line? I have the AW-4 transmission.
mj.87 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 is this what I need? Dorman 624-334 and Dorman 800-714

mj.87 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 I really appreciate your help! Is this what I need to order to replace both lines? 1 Pressure Hose 624301 1 Return Hose 624300 1 Metal tube 624334 2 Fittings at Tranny 800714 1 of each Quick Connector Fittings: 83502745, 5/16" 83504447, 3/8"
HOrnbrod Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 You won't need the 3/8" quick connectors as the new lines already have them.
mj.87 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 You have been so incredibly helpful! I would be lost without this club. I do have one more question. How many of the 5/16 connectors do I need. Thanks.
HOrnbrod Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Same for those. No need. Also you will need to p/u a quick-connector removal tool as below to remove the old lines. NAPA carries it.
