Is this a good buy?

I drive a '88 Xj 4.0 and my co-worker saw it and kinda liked it so then about a month ago he wrecked his Dodge 1500 sport with a gas guzzling 360 V8 putting him in the market for a new truck. So his brother has a '87 Comanche 2.5 liter short bed 2x4 stick shift with about 200xxx miles on it. it's pretty much rust free. and he's wanting $1200 for it is that a good price? :dunno: I don't want him to do this to me :thwak: if I recommend it and it turns out to not be as good as a deal.
