thejum57 Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 Does anyone have 2 equalizer bars with working springs for rear drum brakes for an 86 Comanche? The po of mine or someone welded the springs so they can't move. I was replacing the rear shoes, and the brakes won't compress enough to get the drum on. A guy who does brakes for a living pointed out the welds and said the spring should be able to compress. Parts stores have no listings and suggest junk yards.
