jeepman 87 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I have a 89 2wd mj 4.0 aw4 and a 87 4x4 4.0 mt mj will I be able to to put my 87 tranny in the 89 to make it 4 wheel drive
xjrev10 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Yes is the short answer. Will need to swap the pedals, install the TCM, (mounting holes are already there) you may have to use the x-member from the automatic jeep, drive shafts.
