lexluthier72
Hey all, So...My alternator has been acting up lately (sounds like a bad bearing) And, its under warranty, so I took it out tonight....removing the last bolt (under the alt) I discovered a mysterious orange wire with a connector on the end of it. It does not appear to have been connected to anything that I can see, and really does not reach anything but the alternator, but there is nothing for it to plug into on the alternator. ANY idea what this is, and where it is supposed to plug into?!? :help: As its my DD, I need to get this figured out by tomorrow evening..... :(
lexluthier72
Is this for the AC compressor clutch that I do not have? (no ac!) The only reference I can find in the manual is that it cycles the ac clutch.....? Help!
