CGross Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Anyone have a CB wired up in their truck? If so, how do you have it mounted and have the CB wire routed to the back? I'd prefer a way with as little drilling and the cleanest way to run it if I have to drill.
jpdriver1 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 mine is mounted in place of the ashtray and the antenna cable come up next to the shift boot, power wires come in direct from the battery through the firewall
CGross Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 So you got the actual coaxial wire running under the shifter boot, down past the transmission and back to the bed for the antenna? That's pretty sweet sounding. How is the antenna mounted on the bed?
jpdriver1 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 magnetic mount on rear bumper --- had intented to put it on my toolbox but it was too tall for the carport. hit it a few too many times and bent it --- would have broken a fiberglass one ---
