Glove Box problem

The glove box latch failed and I can not get the glove box open. Does anyone have a secret method for opening the glove box without destroying it?

That's a tricky one! If you can't jimmy it open with a thin blade or wire, you may have to drill out the latch button and then replace just the button. You can easily swap in a new glove box door/hatch from any similar style XJ if you happen to ruin yours. Good Luck.
