kyleag89
Does the compressor clutch spin or is it locked up? Are there any major leaks that you know of?
Guanaco.13
Well It would be nice to have AC but It is costly to get fixed and I have even touched it or put gauges on it

Comanche County
You can pull parts from a Cherokee out of JY for pennies practically. I'd fix it, you don't need an A/C shop to do this for you. You can get an A/C system operational on the cheap if your MJ came with it. The A/C may spin freely when the engine isn't running but does it lock up when running and you turn the A/C on? If not, it could be a wiring or fuse issue. If it runs but isn't cooling, try adding a can of freon with the IR leak detector, you'll be able to see where the leaks are under a black light.
