jimoshel Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 You're the only one who knows what your PCL, personal comfort level is, and what it's worth to maintain.
kyleag89 Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Does the compressor clutch spin or is it locked up? Are there any major leaks that you know of?
Guanaco.13 Posted September 16, 2011 Author Posted September 16, 2011 Well It would be nice to have AC but It is costly to get fixed and I have even touched it or put gauges on it

Comanche County Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 You can pull parts from a Cherokee out of JY for pennies practically. I'd fix it, you don't need an A/C shop to do this for you. You can get an A/C system operational on the cheap if your MJ came with it. The A/C may spin freely when the engine isn't running but does it lock up when running and you turn the A/C on? If not, it could be a wiring or fuse issue. If it runs but isn't cooling, try adding a can of freon with the IR leak detector, you'll be able to see where the leaks are under a black light.
