gerktj
can I just exchange the intake manifold off the 89 motor onto the 95 so all the injection wiring will work or should I do a complete swap? How hard is it to get the new injection system and wiring to work with the old harness?
Comanche County
I'm confused on which way your swap is going, Renix onto the HO block, or HO intake and components on a Renix block? You can swap the blocks, no sweat really. But keep all your renix head, intake, and injection system and sensors.
gerktj
I'm taking the remix motor out and want to rep[lace with a newer style HO motor
mnkyboy
The ports are 5/8" higher on the HO head so the Renix manifold won't match up right. You would need to use the renix head on the HO block to use the Renix manifold. You can use the HO stuff with the Renix wiring but you will have to adapt the Renix TPS to the HO TB,you will also need the HO accelerator cable and change the hosing for the fuel rail. If you search around there's a bit of information out there on it.
