Harry O Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 My heater core is leaking and I plan on removing my dash to replace the core and fix some electrical issues. I also plan on repainting the floor pan and doing alot of interior work. If I remove the dash will the truck still start and be drivable for me to move it in and out of the garage so I can work on it as I get the time or am I stuck where ever I tear it apart?
Akula69 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 If you remove the dash but leave the harness hooked up to the steering column and the ECM (computer) you should be fine with moving it short distances.
