echdaviem Posted June 29, 2011 Share Posted June 29, 2011 looks like i'm going to need to replace the rear axle soon so i'm looking for a ford 8.8 from an explorer with disc brakes, 3.55s so if you happen to have a good one and are willing to part with it for a reasonable price that would be great! Pete M Posted July 11, 2011 Share Posted July 11, 2011 be sure to try car-part.com found plenty of good deals at junkyards I'd never heard of. :D also, in case you didn't know, the v8 and v6 versions are the same, just with different brackets on the tube.
