Engine for a 88 with AW4

I am getting a 88 MJ that has everything but the engine (or so i am told) it had a 4.0L I would like to get it running while i save up for a V8 upgrade. I don't really have a place to store the MJ or parts so i guess i am going for plug and play for now.

 

I will know more about the MJ saturday when i go get it.

Any 4.0 out of an 87 through 90 XJ Cherokee should work.
