Scott86mj Posted December 28, 2006 Share Posted December 28, 2006 I started installing the re drop brackets today and I'm wondering about the upper hole that needs to be reemed out. Did you just use the original bolt or did you drill a 1/2" hole through the frame? It appears that the frame was changed later I have an 86 and the upper control arm bolt just threads into the frame. I think the later xjs must have a hole all the way through. Any thoughts on what I should do? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
