Comanche County
Are you on a river or lake? Anyway, we've switched to jug lines for cats. Using cut minnows, we never come back empty handed. In Texas you can have 50 hooks in the water, so that's 50 jugs. Fishing over shallow mud bottom spawning areas with the bait set about 18-24" deep. You can make your own using 1 liter plastic water bottles. Its still fun to catch em on rod n' reel but it just takes too dang long.
