pitbull4x4 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 I am looking into makeing some bumpers out of c-channel. Should the bumper brackets be 1/4" or 3/8" thick ?
mvusse Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 1/4 should be plenty. Problem with 3/8 is finding a welder big enough to get good penetration. Even 1/4" takes a decent amount of power.
