BlueMoon Posted March 31, 2011 Author Posted March 31, 2011 That brings up the question...how does one tell a renix from a 4.0L ? I have an '87 pioneer with auto trans and the "metal emblem" on the tailgate says 4.0L.
dave92cherokee Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 that appears to be for a renix (87 to 90) 4.0. Renix is the designation of the manufacturer of the engine Jeep 4.0's up to 90 were of the renix era and 91 and on they switched to being the 4.0 HO (high output)
