87Chief
When I go about 25-30 mph I shift into 3rd gear, I hear this kind of grinding noise from tailpipe (well back on truck, heard with window open).. But once I push the gas more, it goes away, then let off it comes back.. It does this in 4th too... It usually happens about 15 minutes of driving... Any suggestions? I brought the truck into class to look at it and the exhaust wasn't welded on to the pipe, just had muffler clamps, my instructor welded it and we did a smoke test to make sure no more leaks, but this still happens... (it was doing th noise before this too...) Thanks

87Chief
I'll be bringing it to school tomorrow. If I get a chance to bring it in the shop. What should I look for/do for the problem?
