Comanchero87
Tried to check the fluid in the ax15 today. Fill plug stuck. So I've read you can add fluid through the shift plate. How do you guys go about removing those 4bolts? Thanks in advance for the replies.
Automan2164
You can get them all from the top fairly easily. Take off the console, and three inner boot. Once your there, you should be able to see a couple, and those you can usually get with a socket and extension. The others you'll have to use a wrench and patience as they usually take awhile to get out. Rob L.
mjeff87
you can just pull the shifter, no need to remove the entire plate. Press the metal "cup" surronding it down and rotate it counterclockwise, and it will pop up. Pull the shifter upward and it, the cup and the spring will come out of the shift tower.
