Anbody know a factory brake line that will work for the front and rear of an MJ with 6" of lift? I don't care what it's for, as long as they bolt up.

Also looking for any stock shock setups that would work also, going the cheap parts store route.

If I remember right, get a Dakota rear line for the back, YJ lines for the front. But the YJ line might be the recommended line for a 3" lift. Blast this feeble brain of mine!

I don't know of any stock shock that can be used up front, but I reused my old shock in the rear by sandwiching the shock mount between the SOA leafpack and the axle (meaning that it was still in the stock location relative to the upper mount). This limits my travel slightly both up and down, but nothing too bad. Just don't go jumping the truck. :D

Jeep on!

Ignore the lift block, that was a mistake that was long ago removed.

Up is limited by about an inch or so.

Down by about 2 inches.

Flex is certainly adaquate, but it could be better. I modified the bumpstops to prevent the shocks from bottoming out, which is how a lot of shocks die in the offroading world.

Thanks. Yours looks a lot like my '88.

I've got the D35 out and the 8.25 ready to go in, the rear will be easy as I can easily relocate the bottom mount. Boy was I glad to see the MJ didn't use barpins in the rear for the upper shock mount, has the stud like the YJ.

I have used 99 ford f150 super crew 4x4 shocks in the past as a get me by for shocks in the front. They still in use on roomates 89 XJ in the front and we have about 4.5 inches of lift on it now. Just my two cents.
