Would dropping a 4.0 pan require me to disco exhaust or....

Does removing a 4.0 oil pan require dropping the exhaust or my 2wd axle?

my 2wd required me to trop the downpipe and the starter, that was it, you could possibly do it without dropping the downpipe though

I had to unbolt the starter and wiggle it out of the way, but otherwise nothing else came off of my 2wd '89. I'm still finding leftover curses on the carport floor though. I used a lot of those. :D
